Now that school is back in session your kids are making new friends and you are setting up new play dates. But what do you do when you are a girl mom and have a play date including boys? Do you feel like maybe you do not have the right toys or games for them to play? Maybe you want to have some games and activities available for all the kids to play? Here are some ideas for all school-aged kids.
Kindergarten to 2nd grade:
Electronic Game Ideas
Board Games
- Jenga
- Classics like Candy Land or Chutes and Ladders
- Monopoly or Monopoly Jr.
- Spot It
- Hoot Owl Hoot
3rd grade to 8th grade:
Electronic Games Ideas
Board Games
These are all some fun games for both girls and boys and many require cooperative play. Having to work as a team to solve a problem is a great way to get kids thinking in a way that will help them long into the future. Of course, always sending them outside to play with balls, chalk, and to run around all help as well. Enjoy those play dates.
