Are you ready to open your heart and home to a furry friend? The Williamson County Animal Center (WCAC) is excited to announce a special volunteer-sponsored adoption event, “Clear the Halls, with Love from the Vols,” happening from July 11-13, 2024. This event promises fun for the whole family, even if you’re not looking to adopt!
Why This Event Matters
WCAC is a no-kill shelter with an impressive 96% placement rate, meaning nearly all animals that come through their doors find loving homes. With the shelter currently at capacity for dogs, this adoption event is crucial for ensuring these wonderful animals find their forever homes. To support this effort, the dedicated volunteers have generously donated their own money to sponsor the first 50 adoptions of dogs, puppies, and adult cats.

How You Can Help
Adopt: The most impactful way to help is to adopt one of our wonderful dogs, puppies, or adult cats. If you’ve been considering adding a new member to your family, now is the perfect time.
Donate: Even if you can’t adopt, you can still support the shelter by donating. Every little bit helps us provide the best care for these animals.
Volunteer: Join our incredible team of volunteers who make events like this possible. Your time and effort can make a huge difference in the lives of these pets.
Foster: If you’re not ready for a permanent commitment, consider fostering an animal. Fostering helps reduce the shelter’s capacity and gives animals a loving home environment while they wait for their forever families.
Spread the Word: Share this event with your friends, family, and social media followers. The more people know about it, the better chance to find homes for all the animals.
The “Clear the Halls, with Love from the Vols” event is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these deserving animals. Whether you’re looking to adopt, donate, or simply enjoy the fun activities planned for the event, your participation can help ensure every dog and cat finds a loving home. Join in the fun at WCAC from July 11-13 and help “clear the halls” with love!
