Brooklyn-based musical duo, The Pop Ups, will be playing at the Franklin Theatre on June 29 for two shows, the first show is at 9:30 a.m. followed by an 11:30 a.m. performance. Members Jason Rabinowitz and Jacob Stein’s musical talents are showcased in their most recent grammy-nominated album Radio Jungle. This wildly imaginative album debuted in April 2012 and has since received a Parent’s Choice Award and praise from the Fids and Kamily Awards. It also held the #1 Single on SiriusXM’s “Kids Place Live” Radio Show.
The Pop Ups are currently preparing for their second tour with Yo Gabba Gabba Live, a busy spring and summer tour, and debuting their new puppet musical titled RADIO JUNGLE, a comedic, ecological scavenger hunt, which features songs from the grammy-nominated album.
Tickets for The Pop Ups are on public sale now for $10 (free for children under the age of 2). They can be purchased at the Franklin Theatre box office (419 Main Street, Franklin, TN), online at www.franklintheatre.com, or by calling 615-538-2076.
