Brentwood Baptist Church has a scrapbooking/craft day every month. You have a big round table to yourself, if you want it. It's not busy - you'll have plenty of room for spreading out.
This is from the latest email from them:
Hi Everyone!
Kids are back in school (or almost for some)... Are you ready to do some scrapping? Or working on other paper-crafting projects? Need a reason to get out of the house so you CAN work on those projects? And fellowship with other ladies?
Our monthly Scrapbook Club at Brentwood Baptist could be your answer!
We will have the next club meeting on Saturday, August 11th from 9:00-5:00 in Wilson Hall G.
Please RSVP to Angela at aftersunrise at hotmail dot com no later than Tuesday, 8/7. (Reason for the RSVP is so Facilities can setup tables for those attending - we don't want to overkill the setup process nor have too few... so thanks for your responses!)
If you have not joined us before, our Scrapbook club is a free open crop every month from 9am till 5pm. We provide the table space and sometimes a few supplies to purchase but otherwise, you bring everything you need supply wise and food wise.
Each month I will have card making supplies on hand so that anyone who attends can put together some cards for our Nurture Team at church, but that is all that we ever ask of the participants. You can come and go as you please and just enjoy cropping with some great ladies.
Here are our upcoming dates as well so you can mark your calendars:
September 1
October 13
November 10
December 8

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.
That's really cool! My schedule doesn't make it feasible, but it would be great for a SAHM-that way Dad could get some one-on-one with the kids on a Saturday, and Mom could get a break and do something fun.
